Boat Tour on the Maritime Day

Yesterday (July 1, 2012), we were celebrate the Maritime day in Alanya harbour.

In the end of the event, all visitors are invited to experience a boat tour.

Of course my daughter and I get on one of the boat and experience that tour.

It was a 20-minute tour but it was great.

It was the first bout tour four us in Alanya.

The boat tour was free because it was a part of the celebration.

summer is a time when tourizm booms in Alanya. thats why many tourist in Alanya. Alanya becomes a Tourist City. almost every day in summer time, i can see tourist convoy at Kütürüp (just in front of my house). they are convoy by jeeps. they ring the horn all the way. this convoy is a tour package from a travel agency. the agency who provide this tour is: Combi Sherlock travel Agency

55°C ....

cant belive but it happened that yesterday (wednesday, 18 august 2010) the temperature in alanya was 55°C. feels like living in saudi. i think this summer is hottest ever. the hottest temperature of last summer was 42 degree.

summer (2009) picnic

cool weather on the riverside at the hill of alanya. there is gazeebo, toilet and çesme. some of the rich people build the picnic place at the stategic area at the hill for the public. we can use it for free without asking permission from the owner.

summer 2009, i and family went picnic again. this time we choose to have picnic at the riverside. we got the comfortable picnic place which other people wants too. clean and cold riverwater, we use it as a refrigerator. we put the fruits in the water to keep it fresh.

we went picnic after morning prayer. there are many empty picnic place in the morning. so we can grab this comfortable place. after having breakfast, then making kebab for lunch.

in the summer time, the weather in alanya is very very hot and humid. making us very sweat. and sometimes appear pink dots at the skin which is itchy. that skin disease calls miliaria rubra (sweat rash, heat rash, or prickly heat). this disease can be affects people of all ages but it is especially common to the children and infants due to their underdeveloped sweat glands.

when çağla skin become hard and brown, it means çağlas are become almonds. normally in the early summer they are ready to be harvest.

42 degree celcius

ohhh it is really hot hot and hot. watching the news last night, it said that the weather in antalya province is 42 degree celcius. it is the hotest year of summer. since sunday last week the hot weather was very bad.
still from the last nite news that istanbul is 40 degree. but opposite with diyarbakir 36 degree which is the hottest city in turkey.

alanya harbour

alanya harbour (iskele) is located near to the red tower. there are many cafe and restaurant in that area. you can drink tea in the cafe near to harbour while you enjoy the beauty of alanya. every two times in a week, the cruises will come to the harbour. it brings so many tourist. while the tourist are walking around and go shopping, the cruises are staying rest at the dock.
