cicada the summer's singer insect


summer in alanya always full of tourist and also the singer insect. this insect is cicada.
A cicada (pronounced /sɪˈkeɪdə/ or pronounced /sɪˈkɑːdə/) is an insect of the order Hemiptera, suborder Auchenorrhyncha, in the superfamily Cicadoidea, with large eyes wide apart on the head and usually transparent, well-veined wings. Cicadas are benign to humans and do not bite or sting. They only stays on the trees (they don't fly often) and singing because they have remarkable acoustic talents.

in the summer, cicada always singing along the day. it heard like choir of the nature. they will stop singing at 8 o'clock in the evening for a few hours and they will start singing again at 12 o'clock in the midle of the nite.

turkish people calls cicada as cırcır boceği because of their voice cıııııııırrrrr....cıııııırrrrr........
